With 25 years of experience in senior leadership in the financial services and managed services sectors for large organisations, Ben's passion for leading great teams drives the operations team to succeed. After joining Fastrack in 2024, Ben has made a significant impact being known for applying his leadership skills, technical expertise, financial acumen, and executive stakeholder management to craft expert solutions. Ben oversees daily business operations, streamlines processes, and ensures efficient resource allocation to drive operational excellence. We share Ben’s enthusiasm as he optimises Fastrack's business to guide both customers and team members towards success.

Outside of work, Ben is a proud parent of three and is passionate about adventure motorcycles, golf, and other sports! 

James is a qualified chartered accountant, starting his career as an auditor at BDO in South Africa and Australia. At Fastrack, James is enthused by providing optimisation technology tools for clients and helping them maintain 24/7 uptime infrastructure in DC colocations. He has spent the last 2 decades supporting Technology Infrastructure businesses. He has specialised in Project Finance and Transformation projects driven by his desire for optimisation across business platforms which has seen him take up positions at Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, UBS and RBS in London and, closer to home, at Healius and Macquarie Technology.   

James loves being outdoors, has participated in dozens of marathons globally, and has checked off Marble Arch to Arc de Triomphe triathlon several times on his list. He also holds a massive love for ocean pools up and down the Sydney coast.

Fun Fact: James has journeyed through an Ironman patch!

With over 25 years in the IT industry and 18 years in managerial leadership, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. Michael has been with Fastrack for 8 years and took on a shareholder role over 6 years ago. He started his career as a high school teacher before transitioning into IT and has since held various IT roles in the banking, oil and gas, construction, and mining industries, as well as with IT service providers. From the outset, captivated by the vision of delivering great customer outcomes - his passion lies in building great teams, inspiring performance, and providing career paths for ambitious and talented IT professionals.  

Michael's our resident endurance enthusiast and music maestro! When he's not at work, he's out running marathons and even cycling 12 hours straight for charity. From university jam sessions to playing music in bands, Michael has been strumming the guitar for years and has hand-built two instruments: an acoustic guitar and a violin, with plans to build many more. 

Fun fact: he once turned Robbie Williams away from joining his game of soccer!

Andrew Davis holds over 20 years of experience in the IT and communications industry, making him a cornerstone at Fastrack. Known for his innovative approach, Andrew excels at building new solutions from the ground up and developing creative fixes for customers by tackling extremely complex problems. In his two years at Fastrack, he has revolutionised the technology landscape in the IT space. Andrew has spent years working in datacentres and helping companies secure firewall & network systems. With a smile, Andrew loves diving into the details—unboxing, installing, and effortlessly improving networks. 

When he’s not immersed in tech, Andrew’s adventurous spirit takes over. He enjoys skiing down snowy slopes, soaring through the skies with paragliding, and tackling rugged terrains on his mountain bike.

Fun fact: Andrew can survive entirely on coffee if needed! 

With 7 years of experience in the IT industry, Laurence has taken on various sales and marketing roles, with 4 years in leadership positions. His career has been focused on hardware and service sales within the IT and IoT sectors, with a smaller focus in security and digital transformation projects. Beginning in sales and building the sales and marketing functions, Laurence has led strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and cultivate key partnerships in his 4 years with Fastrack. He is passionate about helping customers overcome IT challenges, taking great joy in building and mentoring a team of confident, independent individuals who can tackle any problem that comes their way.

Outside of work, Laurence is a race car enthusiast, spending most of his time thinking about his car or working on it - it's seen more hours in the garage than the track!
